Aaron Ramsey who suffered a broken leg in February from a brutal tackle from Stoke’s Ryan Shawcross has confirmed that he is poised to starting training again in about 3 weeks time and targeting a November return to Premiership action.
It was said that like his colleagues before him, Abou Diaby and Eduardo, the recovery from such an injury would probably take 12 to 18 months. But Ramsey’s recovery has astonished the medical team at Arsenal and is on the edge of full recovery only 9 months after the incident.
Welsh caretaker manager, Brian Flynn, who will be missing the teenage prodigy for the next two Euro 2012 qualifying campaigns, said the Ramsey told him that he has almost recovered. According to Flynn,
'I’ve spoken with Aaron and he’s making great progress.
He told me he will be back in full training in three weeks.
'He's a great talent and we all want him back playing again.
'He's a great talent and we all want him back playing again.
It’s great news for Arsenal, Wales and of course for Aaron himself.'
Ramsey,19 was just recently awarded the Welsh Young Player of the Year. He was in great form for us before the setback. Here’s hoping the he comes back an even better player.
