Arsenal's Plan B: The Twin Towers

Can we finally dream of having all our first choices players back and no other going off injured? Since November last year (some might argue eve longer before that), we have not had our full team in a league match or any match as a matter of fact. Although we won't see it happening yet this month, I hope to be able to see my preferred first eleven on  the field when we go into the dreaded month of November. We have always had problems with November but that's for another post.

My prefered first eleven with the current set of players:

                                                   Almunia
Sagna                          Koscielny               Vermalen                 Clichy
                                                      Song

Walcott                        Fabregas                   Nasri                   Arshavin
                                                  Van Persie

Subs
Fabianski
Squillaci
Gibbs
Wilshere
Rosicky
Chamakh
Eboue
Vela
Bendtner
Ramsey

That's not a bad looking team, isn't it? I dare say there is team other than Manchester City that have better depth than us. Look at our bench, all of them are full fledged internationals. If not for our injury curse, we would be able to field two full teams without any drop in standards.

I would not change the 4-5-1 formation that have been in place for some time now, although the prospect of having Chamakh and Bendtner up front would be refreshing change to our strategy. This coulld be our Plan B. Just stick the Twin Towers in the penalty box and pump high crosses into it. That might get us a goal or two. I don't think in our history have we ever used two big center forwards as target strikers. It might be worth a try, isnt it?
